Healthy side-dish with delicious flavour. We had these with a barbecue and they tasted great. Serve with some sour cream and chives if you have it – or mayo!
Harissa sweet potato wedges – to serve 4
- 1kg sweet potatoes, scrubbed and cut into wedgees
- 1 tbsp harissa paste
Heat the oven to 200C/180C fan/gas 6. Toss the wedges with the harissa in a bowl and then transfer to a baking tray and cook for 40-45 minutes.

They are great with smoked paprika and a bit of olive oil too. A very underrated tuber in these parts.
Best,

That’s exactly what we did with the leftover sweet potatoes! These ones are the “Tesco Finest” White Sweet Potatoes, but we think we prefer the orange ones. JnJ
I am an orange man myself. Strange for a Dubliner!

Lol!
Looks great
We recently tried out white flesh sweet potatoes and all agreed that we much referred its orange relative. I always tend to toss wedges in thyme leaves and olive oil, but harissa or smoked paprika sounds wonderful. Thanks for sharing
We’ll try thyme and olive oil next time! We usually have some thyme growing somewhere. J&J
